The Kynoch Press was founded as a company press in to print packaging. To manage publicity, the company set it up as a fine press, which, when Kynoch became part of ICI incontinued as a division and kept its name, The Kynoch Kynoch Press not only handled the firm's printing, but performed independent work, operating at times like a small Founded:Witton in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

InImperial Metal Industries was divested as an independent quoted company. From tothe company was led by the charismatic John Harvey-Jones. Under his leadership, the company acquired the Beatrice Chemical Division in and Glidden Coatings & Resins, a leading paints business, in Headquarters: London, England, UK.
